Hallmar has worked across a wide spectrum of industries, early on gaining diverse hands-on experience as mechanic and later on as mechanical engineer. He has spent the greater part of the last two decades participating in studies & projects around hydrogen and renewable energy.
Hallmar founded Icelandic Hydrogen in 2007, has been involved in major hydrogen projects in Iceland and worked internationally within business development, international sales and marketing related to Hydrogen storage & infrastructure technologies. Hallmar has designed and commissioned some world’s first H2 maritime applications.
He has built up extensive network with high level individuals from car, bus and truck OEM’s, electrolysis & fuel cell companies and some larger oil / energy groups in Europe, Asia and N-America. He has developed strategies around hydrogen infrastructure, hydrogen refueling, grid balancing and zero emission maritime technologies.
Hallmar holds MSc in Mechanical Engineering (Ship engines and power plants) from the University of Hamburg Harburg and has studied towards a PHD in metal hydride and hydrogen storage/hydrogen transport technologies at the University of Iceland.

Svava holds Business Administration from the University of Iceland. She has decades of experience from within the Icelandic business environment.
She was a partner at Mannvit, International Consulting company working as CFO and HR-manager. She has been a board member and a chairman of board for numerous companies in Iceland.
She emphasizes on thorough strategic planning and professional governance in all aspects of business.
Svava founded Kapituli ehf and actively coaches individuals and teams, is internationally accredited ACC Coach from ICF, and consults on strategic planning and management.

Bjarni has been General Manager for Stalsmidjan-Framtak ehf and Framtak-Blossi ehf since 2001.
He has been manager, board member and chairman of board, serving numerous companies in Iceland for decades, many of which have contributed greatly in the build up of energy power plants, heavy industry, the fish industry and built up and maintained high service level for many different companies and industries for decades.
Bjarni holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Hannover (1972) and BS from Duisburg in 1993.
He has been a board member in the Technology Institute of Iceland for 8 years and for the Technical College for 10 years and served in educational capacity for the University of Iceland from 1977-2000.

Kristoffer Olsen, CFA, is a senior finance professional with extensive risk assessment, company analysis and investment decision-making experience from the City of London in addition to early commercial banking experience.
He has broad sector insights from financing of energy, shipping and industrial companies as well as of large-scale project finance of energy, renewables and infrastructure assets in EMEA countries.
Having spent 3 years at PEM electrolyser supplier ITM Power Plc as business development & investor relations manager, he has a deep understanding of how fuel cell & green hydrogen technologies can be deployed in the energy transition and has accrued widespread international hydrogen sector network.
Kristoffer is a CFA Charterholder, achieved the CFA UK Level 4 Certificate in ESG Investing in 2020 and earned an MSc in Investment Analysis at University of Stirling, Scotland in 2003.

Baldur Sigurdsson has lived and worked in the UK since 1990.
He has led management buy-in of food delivery service (previously AIM listed), is working on Zero Carbon Travel project between UK cities with links to Heathrow and Gatwick airport and has been working on the funding of a Norwegian Company in the green energy field.
Baldur has established and sold number of food distribution companies in the UK and is an active board member of different companies, UK and internationally based, He has been a fund manager, has supervised consolidations and been responsible for European wide investments. Has worked with various institutions and individuals as a co-investor. He was a analyst for Henderson Global Investors (1993-1996).
Baldur studied Business administration at the University of Iceland, holds a B.Sc in Land Management from the University of Reading (UK) and holder of "Certificate of Investment Management" from the City of London.
Jón has worked as Chief Engineer in freight ships, fishing ships and land-based industries, including ammonia plant with on-site Hydrogen generation.
He worked for Stalsmidjan-Framtak for over 20 years, including heading the service and maintenance of the first Hydrogen refueling station open for public access (from 2001-2011).
He gradually took on work as health and safety manager in various projects related to the heavy industry, Hydrogen and renewable energy, work within geothermal power plants and served as HSE manager for Stalsmidjan-Framtak while raising Landsvirkjun’s newest Geothermal Power Plant – Þeystareykir.
Gunnar Þór has extensive experience as mechanic and car mechanic and worked for decades in building and later maintenance of many Hydro Power plants in Iceland.
He did take a new path in 2001, taking on role to service and maintain the first Hydrogen fuel cell buses in Iceland for 4 years. He later led the service work and maintenance work for many different fuel cell vehicle programs in Iceland from the year 2006 , until and throughout the year 2011.
Gunnar has the unique experience servicing many different fuel cell vehicles and type and platforms, fuel cell repairs and maintenance and as Hydrogen facility manager.
